As managing partner of AGConsult I map out the road we travel on as a company, together with Els Aerts. I’m responsible for business development and our financial health.
Top 3 most influential CRO-expert in the world
I’m number 3 on the list of most influential Conversion Rate Optimization Experts in the world. And the only Belgian in that list.
As an expert in usability and conversion optimization I’m regularly asked as a keynote speaker at international conferences. I recently spoke at Conversion Conference in London and Berlin, Call-to-Action in Vancouver, Unbounce Roadshow in Toronto, ConversionSUMMIT in Frankfurt, UX Poland and ConvertsionBoost in Copenhagen.
I’m a guest lecturer at Thomas More, Karel de Grote-Hogeschool and Kluwer Opleidingen and I’ve delivered in-company training courses at Thomas Cook, Barry Callebaut and Atlas Copco, among others.

What I did before AGConsult?
In the dark ages of the interwebs I founded the webdesign agency Netsign (1996) and the content company Webtelligence (1998). Back in the day, we made websites for pharmaceutical giant Merck and shopping chain Casa. Webtelligence owned the Upto-websites, a series of very popular content websites.
After I sold both companies to AdValvas I became Chief Technical Officer of AdValvas Media, at that time Belgium’s biggest internet company.
Mid 2001 I left AdValvas to found AGConsult, together with Els Aerts.
A very very long time ago I studied art history at the university of Leuven. Somehow I still managed to turn out okay…
In my spare time you can often find me cooking or taking photographs. Preferably holding a good glass of wine and a Dominican cigar at the same time.
