The name \u2018itsme\u00ae\u2018 probably rings a bell. Over 7 million Belgians<\/strong> are using the app: that’s around 80% of the active population. Every day<\/strong>, the app is used more than 1 million times<\/strong>. The app has some renowned partners: almost all Belgian banks, most insurers, most health services and institutions, and the government and public administrations use itsme\u00ae.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n \n <\/section>\n\n\n

Safe and fast mobile phone ID<\/h2>\n

The app itsme\u00ae allows users to swiftly and safely identify themselves<\/strong> by using their mobile phone. Without a card reader or a list of passwords. Users can also share data, subscribe online, and confirm orders and payments in a heartbeat.<\/p>\n

itsme\u00ae asked us to optimize the app<\/strong><\/a> while still in the testing phase<\/strong>. To get insights into the experiences of users, we organized user tests<\/a> with eye-tracking.<\/p>\n

Lean user testing: an efficient way of working<\/h2>\n

We tested in sprints<\/strong>, each time with a small group of users. This means that we immediately tested every modification<\/strong> before entering the next stage. If something didn\u2019t work, we shared our thoughts about possible solutions. Which we then tested. Over and over again. And again.<\/p>\n

This way, we gradually made progress, without having an endless list of improvements<\/strong>. And without unexpected costs.<\/p>\n
