What I do at AGConsult
Turning frowns into smiles, that’s my mission.
Making your customers happy by giving them a great user experience on your site, app, intranet.
I love to use data to gain better insight into the needs of customers.
Top task surveys reveal why visitors come to you, what they want to do or buy. In the next step, I look into the log files to see whether they achieve that goal.
How do they navigate your site and where do they struggle?
After that, it’s time to remove all obstacles through transparent copy and creative solutions. And then? I test again. A/B-tests or user tests are the perfect tools to make sure the suggested improvements work.
What I did before AGConsult
I got my master’s degree in Language and Literature at UGent.
That’s where I discovered my fascination for psychology.
During the courses “Conversation Analysis” and “Evolutionary Linguistics” I was always on the edge of my seat.
I took my first steps in the world of marketing as a project manager, but I soon realized that I wanted to dive deeper into the projects.
I then tried to satisfy my curiosity as a researcher at UGent, investigating the effects of educational games on young people’s advertising literacy.
At AGConsult I seem to have found the Holy Grail: a job that combines research, psychology and marketing.
Opinions? No, thank you. Give me facts!
When I’m not working
In Ghent, you’ll probably catch me enjoying the sun with a glass of wine in my hand or going for a walk with my tail wagging sidekick.
Other times, you can find me wandering some part of the world, being amazed by nature or in a hammock with my nose in a book.
