What I do at AGConsult
I help clients look at their products and services from a user perspective. I do this by relying on user research and a lot of testing. Besides test data, I also look at personality types to find out how information can best be presented and how that can lead to the optimal result.
I have also developed far-reaching interest and knowledge regarding online subscriptions, a topic that is becoming increasingly relevant in today’s market.
What did before AGConsult
Over the years in the Netherlands, I worked for several web builders where I was responsible for large corporate accounts. An important part of my job was developing strategic advice for a new or existing site, app or e-commerce platform.
In 2013 when I was working a web agency in Amsterdam, I started looking into CRO. For clients, I worked with Raising Results on optimisation. I also attended CRO training courses and was a frequent guest at Conversion Hotel where I also got to know AGConsult. As a CRO freelancer, I worked for Energie Direct and Holland Media Combinatie.
Over the past 5 years, I had the opportunity to work for Mediahuis’ beautiful brands. The aim was to build long-term customer relationships. I was responsible for various projects that contributed to better customer journeys. I was responsible for projects in b2c sales, data, web development, customer experience and service design.
My most successful project was setting up the subscriptions pay wall for the regional titles and De Telegraaf. This enabled us to grow by more than 50,000 new subscribers in two years.
When I’m not working
I am very privileged to live in Vinkeveen, near the water. I can often be found on and in water. I also enjoy playing Padel and golf. My favourite countries to holiday in are Spain and Italy, but if possible I also like to go explore a bit further afield.
