As co-founder and managing partner of AGConsult I determine the road we travel on as a company, together with Karl. I make sure our high quality standards are met in everything we deliver.
Organisations like Ghent University, the European University Institute and the Red Cross call on me to create their online strategy.
I also do user research for companies like Daikin, Atlas Copco, Bridgestone and Orange to find out how their websites and online strategy can be improved.
Because writing plays a very important part in user experience, I’ve developed a series of web writing courses that I’ve taught at commercial and non-profit organisations like Thomas Cook, Tui, Roularta and the European Commission.
I share my knowledge on conferences worldwide, such as CXL Live (Austin, USA), CTA Conference (Vancouver, Canada), Conversion Hotel (The Netherlands) and Digital Elite Camp (Tallinn, Estonia).

What I did before AGConsult?
I studied Germanic Philology at the University of Antwerp.
In the stone age of the interwebs I worked for Webtelligence (1998). First as an editor, later as content manager. Back then, the Upto content websites of Webtelligence were among the 10 most visited sites of Belgium.
When Webtelligence was taken over by AdValvas I became Chief Content Officer of AdValvas Media, at the time the largest web company in Belgium. I was responsible for creating the online content strategy for all AdValvas Media’s subsidiaries.
Mid 2001 I left AdValvas to found AGConsult, together with Karl.
My love for Australia and New-Zealand sometimes takes me to the other side of the world. But I’m also very happy on my couch looking out over my garden, reading a good book
